On April 3, 2022 Brad Kerrivan was killed by impaired driver Joshua Doyle Burt while on his way to pick his partner up from a work trip at the airport.

Brad was a tireless volunteer, always giving as much as he could to his community and the causes that were closest to his heart.

His partner, Dwan, loved her rescue beagles and Beagle Paws became close to his heart. Fostering rescue beagles through snow storms he was always asking how they could best support the rescue.

Dwan's Sunday night hockey boys, her big brothers, welcomed Brad from day one and they played every Sunday on the same line - her passing the puck up to him from defence and him loving every minute.

He often said, "I am so happy you have those boys. They're good people with good hearts."

This GoFundMe is to fundraise for Beagle Paws outside of the funds raised for the First Annual Brad Kerrivan Memorial Hockey Tournment funds. There will also be an online auction.

Beagle Paws has seen an influx of pups this year. They granted Dwan the joy of being mom to Sid, Claude and now Stanley.
