First Baby, Now Chemo

Hello,
May I take a few moments of your time, to tell you about my Daughter Carlie, and her partner Reece.
Carlie is a Paediatric Intensive care Nurse, Reece is a Car Mechanic.
In the beginning of December 2018, Carlie surprised us all with the news that she was pregnant. It was news that caught us all by surprise as she had been diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome some years previous.
We were all so happy! They are such a lovely couple.
Just two days later, we were hit with the bomb shell.
Reece, (after a check up for haemorrhoids) was diagnosed with Bowl Cancer. One test led to another, to find that the Cancer had spread to his Liver. He was originally told that the cancer in his liver, consisted of a few spots. The few spots turned out to be three fairly large tumours, with a peppering to the vast majority of the remaining liver.
They were both in a state of shock.
Carlie was so scared that she would loose this lovely man, that she had waited so long for.
Reece scared that he would loose, not only the women he loves, but may not be there for the baby they were making together.
Can't really explain what the next few weeks we're like! Just deep deep sadness.
The Liver became the priority, so the pregnancy had to take a back seat. After chemo, and radiation therapy, the liver cancer had been reduced to an operable level. Reece had more than half his Liver removed, on the 15th May, and is making a super recovery.
Their baby is due TODAY!!!.
And now they have been told that Reece needs to undergo surgery to remove the part of his bowl, where the cancer began. This will mean more recovery time, as well as being new Parents.
As Carlie is a NHS nurse, she earns to much (yeh right!)for them to get help.
All they need is a little help with paying the bills, and not having to worry about what may be around the corner.
