Dave's First Album...40 Years in the Making

At the age of 17, I entered the prison system only to emerge 40 years later.  After my release in 2018, I developed a show, "Three Chords and The Truth: A Journey of Hope and Redemption Through Music,” in which I tell my story, accenting each chapter with music, both original compositions and cover tunes. I talk about the reality of a tough childhood and my experiences with the Criminal Justice system.  How it all affected me. Both the bad and the good. (Be sure to check out the video below!)

The creation of the show was made possible through the extraordinary efforts of friends who helped me keep hope alive while I was incarcerated and since my release. This album is a testament to their dedication and encouragement. It is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit to find and follow its true calling. In my case, the love of music and storytelling.  

This will be my first album, finally fulfilling a dream to create and share deeply moving songs to inspire others to think about their own personal story and journey through a life that can sometimes be challenging.
