Dear friends, family, and supporters of our school community,
We are thrilled to be bringing our first ever full-scale musical production, High School Musical, to the stage at The Civic Theatre in Tallaght on 23–24 March: a vibrant celebration of energy, music, friendship and creativity.
Putting on a show like this is an exciting opportunity for our students to grow in confidence, teamwork, and artistic expression. But it also comes with real costs: financial costs that go far beyond the passion and dedication of our school community.
Why We Need Your Support
Producing a musical involves many essential expenses:
Performance rights for the songs and script — these are legally required so we can perform this beloved show.
Hiring professional sound technicians and lighting crew to ensure every actor and musician can be heard and seen at their best.
Renting a theatre space doesn’t come cheap, but it gives our students a professional stage to shine on.
Costumes, props, microphones and set design: our backstage team are working hard, but there is only so much we can do in house.
These are real costs, and as a first-time production team, we’re learning as we go.
