Fireworks Magic 2022

My good friend Eric said it best when he described the fireworks that kick off the summer each year as Windsor's real Christmas. No other night of the year brings such good cheer to our city.
I've lived most of my life by the Detroit River. The first fireworks show I clearly remember was 1987's, and I haven't missed a year since (including while I lived two thousand miles away). Among the many fantastic memories I have of this special night is randomly dropping by to boogie at Kero's very first front-porch rave at his old place on Riverside at Elm.
Sometimes friends move on, and sometimes they find themselves back where they started. Years later, Deanna and I were thrilled to open our space once again for all you beautiful dreamers to dance the sun to sleep and back up again. The 2018 edition is still the stuff of legends, and we solidly topped it in 2019.
And these parties were entirely a product of YOU. Your peace, your love, your unity, your respect, your good vibes, your wicked dance moves, and your wild ways.
Of course, you all know what happened next. 2020 and 2021 became the lost years. But this is 2022, and WE'RE BACK.
In past years, Deanna, my mother, and I have collectively put a sizable chunk of change into making these parties happen, and if 2022 is any different, it will be because that chunk gets larger. We're creating this funding drive for all you beautiful people who keep asking us if you can contribute too, and every dime we raise will go toward making it that much bigger and better.
We've significantly enhanced the venue while you've been away, and we already have a bunch of really exciting features in the works for this year's party that I can hardly wait to announce. If you find value in the victuals, the libations, the entertainment, and the atmosphere, and have the means to help them reach their final form in 2022, contribute what you can here, and together we'll make this a triumphant night to remember.
You're fucking superstars. I love you all.
