Firehouse Fund for Downingtown
The Downingtown community has been devasted by this week's flooding. Our neighbors, staff and community are reeling.
Our businesses located in the old Minquas Firehouse, in the heart of Downingtown, are driven by love of this community. We have united to start the Firehouse Fund to raise money to support clean-up , those who are displaced and other needs identified by our community.
Imagine what we all can do by donating $5. For all who are able, just $5 (or more) can make an indescribable impact on the hurt in our community. We will continue to update you on where and how your money will be used to lift this community we all love.

Application for $500 Grant

If you live in the Borough of Downingtown and your home or car were damaged by the flood on Sept. 1st, you are eligible to receive a grant of $500. No repayment is required. Grants will be made on a first come, first served basis until funds are depleted.
In order to receive the grant, please submit the information listed below via email to [email redacted]
Name, address and phone number
2-3 photos of the damage to your home and/or car and a brief written description of the damage.
Photo ID (Driver’s License, Passport, Visa, or Military ID)
Proof of Address (Utility Bill or Mortgage / Rent receipt or screencap that shows your address)
Photos from a phone of the requested documents are acceptable.
