Ruben Telles has been a member of Hutto Fire Rescue and Hutto Professional Firefighters Association Local 4707 for three years. On the night of August 09, 2023, Ruben and his girlfriend's apartment was destroyed as a wildfire in Cedar Park Texas broke out. Ruben's experience as a firefighter gave him a unique perspective on the devastation caused by wildfires, but he never imagined that he would become a victim himself. The loss of their home and belongings was a heartbreaking experience.

The Hutto Professional Firefighters Foundation is currently engaged in a fundraising campaign to support one of our members who has unfortunately been directly affected by the devastating wildfires. This initiative is aimed at providing much-needed assistance and relief to our colleague during this challenging time.
