We have a brother in need. My name is Sean Blanchfield and I work at Los Alamos County Fire Department. Former LAFD firefighter/paramedic Patrick Thoma is in of our help. Last week Thoma went in for unplanned surgery for a heart valve problem. During the surgery, they found an aortic aneurysm. The surgery was successful for both conditions. He is recovering at home. The approximate out of pocket cost to the Thoma family is $20,000. As this was unplanned, any financial assistance is greatly appreciated. The money donated to Thoma will go towards paying hospital bills and the other bills incurred during this unplanned event.
