Firefighter in desperate times and needs help.

Hi, my name is Paul and I am fundraising for one of my closest friends that has fallen on an extremely hard time in his and his family's life. I have known Chris for a better part of my life and I can say with certainty that his heart is always in the right place. He is a very well-respected and liked individual and has worked hard to achieve a high rank in his career. About 8 months ago, in my opinion, he was wrongfully fired from his job due to 2 individuals conspiring against him for their benefit. Since this has happened one of the individuals has been sentenced to federal prison on 4 counts for stealing over $150K from a foundation to help kids with Cystic Fibrosis. This alone explains the selfishness and type of people they are. If this person can steal from sick children then there is no length in what they will do to a coworker.

Now that Chris was wrongfully fired from a job where he held a very high-ranking position, his pay was stopped immediately and has had to find other work. Even working 6-7 days a week he can not bring in even a quarter of what he was making. He has all the normal bills we all have including 2 kids in school whom he pays for all their room and board plus school supplies. You can imagine how hard this has to be on a person who has always supported his family and has been an amazing father.

For the last 8 months, he has hired an attorney and has been fighting to try and get his job back. This has been a very difficult road and though we are very hopeful he may get his career back, that may still be a ways away. My attempt here is so he does not lose everything he has worked so hard for. If I can't raise enough for him he will have to file bankruptcy and he will lose his house and will no longer be able to help pay for his children's schooling. All this is happening to a man that has always put himself before others in a career as a public servant because of 2 greedy and evil people.

I am trying to collect some funds for Chris and his family that will be strictly used to pay his monthly bills and mortgage in the meantime as we wait for the attorney to do his thing.
