Firefighter Calvin "Andy" Allison
Donation protected

In Andy Allison’s short career with the Lewisville Fire Department he touched many lives and never was that more apparent than his retirement ceremony held Jan. 23, 2015.
Andy medically retired from the department after being injured in a house fire Aug. 12, 2012. While putting out a small fire in the laundry room, Andy was electrocuted. After more than two years of doctor visits, surgeries and searching for answers about his injuries, at 31 years old Andy was told that he would not be able to return to the career he loved and called his dream job.
“Thank you. This was way more than I ever expected. I’m honored, and I’m proud. First off I want to thank my wife and my son Skylar for putting up with me this whole time,” Andy said. “They stood beside me. It’s been hard. My wife has been my inspiration. She laid in the hospital bed beside me. I want to thank my family. They supported us and picked us up so many times. I owe it all to my family.”

Through all of these daunting personal challenges Andy shares his story to help future Police and/or Firefighters who may suffer career-ending Line of Duty injuries.
This campaign has been started again to ease the burden Andy and his family are facing due to the ongoing medical issues he has been forced to deal with. I now ask everyone reading this to please extended your geneorsity to the very, gracious Allison family with a monetary donation big or small. If you are not able to donate money, I would only ask that you please pass this message and link forward. Thank you for your time.
