Jennie’s Story ♥️
After years of hard work, dedication, and countless sleepless nights, my stepmom Jennie finally earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW). A huge accomplishment she poured her heart into!
She spent years balancing full-time work, internships, and graduate school, often leaving home by 7 a.m. and not returning until 9 p.m., then staying up until 2 a.m. doing homework, only to wake up and do it all again.
When it came time for her graduation, she planned months in advance and requested time off to attend this once-in-a-lifetime moment. Unfortunately, her job denied her request. She explained how much it meant to her, but her boss refused.
So, as many of us would, she made the difficult decision to go anyway because after all that sacrifice, she deserved to walk across that stage.
Then her employer fired her, saying they saw a video of her at her graduation and accused her of lying about being sick.
Now, after giving everything to her education and career, she’s suddenly without her income. To make things even harder, she’s still responsible for paying exam prep, licensing fees, and testing costs to earn her LMSW license, which are expensive and essential for her to move forward in her career.
She’s worked hard helping others, and now she’s the one who needs help. ❤️
If you’re able to contribute, even a small amount, it will go directly toward her exam prep, licensing, and living expenses while she works on getting back to doing what she loves!
