This fund is being created for my very good friend Michael Rosado who lost his home, belongings and most important his girlfriend's beloved dogs in a tragic fire the morning of Oct 13,2016 at 6:00 am. It is heartwrenching enough to lose your home but an even bigger heartbreak to lose sweet innocent animals.
He has lost all of his personal belongings. Can you imagine waking up and finding all you have left are the clothes on your back. Everyting you have worked for, is gone. The loss is even worse when you do not have insurance to replace all of those things.
Michael and his girlfriend awoke early that morning to the smell of smoke. They ran from bedroom to bedroom as the smoke filled their home. They attempted to go back into the house to rescue their dogs but the smoke and fire was too intense, making it impossible. The fire destroyed over half of Michael and Tara’s home, rendering it unlivable. The Fire Department tried to save the pets but it was too late. They all died of smoke inhalation.
Michael is an incredible, hard working and proud man. He would never ask any of his friends or family for money or help and that is why I, Luis Santiago, am doing so for him.
This is an incredibly horrible and tragic thing to happen to anyone. Losing everything you own and value all at once is difficult to deal with. These funds will go to Michael and Tara for rebuilding their home and to purchase clothing and living essentials. If you know Michael and/or Tara, please find it in your heart to make a donation, No amount is too small or too large for a couple who is having to start from square one. I know Michael and Tara, would appreciate it very much.
