A single mother after a fire took their home

The fire that took the dream.
I have the opportunity to brag about a single proud mother of three young boys. One mother's story of battles, strength and perseverance that had surpassed all obstacles in her way before this week.
Destiny found sobriety, she kept it, she held down that career she is now most proud of. She put her foot down and sent those that weren't of good influence to her or her babies packing out of their world. She worked extra, saved extra and this year she gathered just enough to get her son's and her a "two" bedroom apartment. I say two because in order to give them comfort and shelter, Destiny gave up the two bedrooms for her son's and she took the living room floor.
I watched this mother beam at work while she saved up for her new bed in the living room. You may have guessed it, "the family couch."
She bought one a month ago after saving as much as she could (post apartment deposit) off of a site that wasn't quite what the picture described in dimensions. Small, scrunched, but her furbaby and her made it work. She was happy, grateful and thankful for it. She would say "I'd give everything to my babies"
To see her come into work right on time in the mornings. Flashing that prideful grin and a giggle that she "a single mother of three" had a place to call home, they had food in their bellies, bought her own furniture, a roof of love, but most of all peace without needing anyone else to make this dream a reality. She did this and you could see the accomplishment on her face when she was asked about her new place. Everything was just how she wanted, her boys safe without a worry.
May 21st, 2025,
Destiny raced out of work in panic. No words, just raced off, she just received the call that her apartment was on fire. Her furbaby was still trapped inside.
With a big thanks to the reactive time of the Medford Fire District, her pup was rescued to safety. The fire had been isolated and extinguish quickly but not in time to save the place her and her three children had just recently called home.
During my in the moment conversation with
Destiny~ "It's all gone, I'm losing everything"
Everyone at work was in shock, coworkers talked about "let's rally for her" yet, we were frozen in time with her during something that was ripping her heart out.
Destiny's family walked away from their home that day with only the clothes on their backs and enough money for a two night stay at a hotel.
At this very moment your donation can give her that smile back, clothes on her children, most importantly a home back.
She needs a place to rent that will accept a single mothers income. They need beds, furniture, kitchen accessories, food, pet deposit, TO START OVER. Everything is damaged.
THIS FAMILY deserves to see what happens when a worldwide community comes together to show her that we are proud of everything she has fought so hard for. That she can overcome this test she has been given. That all of her battles had not been lost.
We look out for one another, so let's not stop here. Please give all you are able to give. Send them your light and love as they are unsure of today, but tomorrow may just be the light this world needs more of. These young boys look up to their mother and you can help keep hope in humanity alive.
To you Destiny,
May you never give up on your dream no matter the blaze that threatens it.
