Fire Took Everything: Support Sadia's Family

Hello, I'm creating this fundraiser on behalf of my cousin who has lived in West Sacramento her whole life. She lost everything in her home. Their home was newly remodeled and she and her husband spent so much on making it perfect for their little family of 4. Their toddlers even lost their toys and clothes. Anything will help and they appreciate all of you.

A message from my cousin:

Hi, my name is Sadia and I’m reaching out during one of the most difficult times in my life.

On the afternoon of 5/22/2025, a devastating fire tore through our home, leaving us with nothing but the clothes on our backs. In a matter of minutes, everything we worked so hard for—memories, belongings, and the roof over our heads—was reduced to ashes. Thankfully, everyone made it out safely, and we are so grateful to be alive. But we are now faced with the heartbreaking reality of starting over from scratch.

We’re asking for your support to help us recover—whether that means rebuilding our home, finding temporary housing, replacing essentials, or simply getting back on our feet.
