Fire Took Everything Jamison & Sue Beetham Had!

Hi, my name is Teri Duncan, and I am helping to raise funds for my brother, Jamison, and his wife, and my sister-in-law, Sue.

On Monday, September 5, 2022, their home in Martinsville, IN burned to the ground. Everything they owned is gone. The picture above is where their front door used to be!

We are so blessed because they both survived the fire. And, all but one of their pets also survived!

But now, all that they have are the clothes on their backs. And they had a big garage and a workshop, but it was attached to the house. So, everything including vehicles, motorcycles, tools, etc in addition to everything in the house went up smoke.

Jamison and Sue are usually the ones who are raising money for other people in their lives. For as long as I can remember they have held an annual event to raise money for someone in need. There were several years that they provided wheelchairs for those who could not afford them. Other years they helped out with hospital expenses. And even after the fire, they are going go ahead with the event they've planned for this year to help pay for a funeral of a friend!

They are good people who have spent their lives helping others in need...now they are the ones that need some help.

They are working with their insurance, the Red Cross, and FEMA. And, in addition, we, the immediate family are doing everything that we can to help them. But they are still going to need more.

Here are just a few of the things that they need with average costs ...

Refrigerator $1500
Stove $700
Microwave $350
Manufactured Home $125,000
Recliner $500
Sofa $1000
Kitchen Table & Chairs $500
Tool Set $300
Toiletries for 2 for a month $29.62
Used Car $30,000
Shovel $13.74
Dog Food for 1 dog for a year $2,244 (they have at least 3)
Pots & Pans $229.99

I haven't even skimmed the edge of what they need in the coming months, but you get the picture.

And, time is of the essence! It will begin to freeze in less than a month. Jamison and Sue will need to have something warm to wear and a place to stay that is insulated and has heat before their insurance, Red Cross, and FEMA will be able to react.

So, if you can find it in your heart to assist them, it will be so appreciated!

And please, share this with everyone you know, and on all of your social media accounts.

Thank you!!!
