My brother Henry was recently in a serious car accident, and while it's hard to even put into words, we are so incredibly lucky and grateful that he is still with us today. The difference between life and death came down to one minute and the absolute will to live.

Over the weekend Henry’s truck crashed and caught fire. Henry’s leg was was pinned in the crash and by the grace of god the window smashed out in the crash and he was able to free his leg and pull himself from his rapidly burning truck. Henry has a long road ahead of him physically, emotionally, and financially.

Henry sustained most of his injuries to his right leg. He suffered a dislocated hip and an acetabular fracture (a break in the socket portion of the hip joint), along with deep cuts and heavy bruising. The pain and recovery ahead are significant, and he’ll need time, support, and physical therapy to heal and regain his mobility.

Most people who know him know how hard he’s worked to build something of his own. He recently started his own small business, HM Home Improvement, and was gaining real momentum doing what he loves.

But as a contractor, his tools are everything — and nearly all of them were in the back of his truck when it burned. Watching that go up in flames wasn’t just devastating emotionally; it also wiped out his ability to work and earn an income.

We're asking for help to get Henry back on his feet. To help replace the tools he lost, cover some of the medical and recovery expenses, and give him a fighting chance to keep building the business and life he’s worked so hard for.
