SOS-Fire Takes the Home of a Veteran

Our family is experiencing an unimaginable tragedy and help is urgently needed. On September 24, our Uncle’s home of 34 years in St. Petersburgh, Florida caught fire. His spouse and 2 dogs perished. The home and its entire contents are a complete loss. We are so thankful that he was not home at the time of the fire. He is an 84 year old US Veteran who is now homeless.
All money collected will go towards the immediate need of purchasing toiletries, clothing, and furnishings for housing. Our family has contacted numerous organizations such as the American Red Cross and VA and have yet to receive any assistance. His needs are immediate. Any help is greatly appreciated.
