Fire Takes Entire House Days Before Christmas

Hi, My name is Krea Fetters I live across the street from the Childers' family. We became fast friends when my husband and I moved in 4 years ago. This is a page for neighbors and friends to come together to help the Childers family during this devastating time. The Childers family consists of Danielle, Roger and their three boys Logan(8), Danny(12) and Mo(15). Unfortunately, their home burnt down on Thursday, December 15th.

The house fire happened due to a malfunction that occurred during a new water heater installation. Gratefully the entire family got out safe and no one was injured. Sadly the house is a total loss. We are working to go through the few items the fire department was able to pull from the house and see if we can save some personal belongings. The amazing team of firefighters was able to pull the Christmas tree out and salvaged some of the special memorabilia ornaments.

All funds will go directly to the Childers family to help with the unforeseen costs they will be incurring as a result of this loss. They do have insurance and are working with them however as many know insurance does not cover everything at 100%. They are estimated to be displaced from their home for at least one year.

Roger and Danielle said they are so grateful for the outpouring of love and kindness during this trying time.
