On Wednesday, August 19th 2020, fire destroyed many homes here in Solano County, California. The devastation has affected many people, including a young man by the name of Nat. He and his brother lost the home where they lived, and I’m asking our community to come together and support these wonderful young men.
I have known Nat for about a year now, he has performed videography and photography for me at my place of work. He is a very hard-working young man, always on time, always gives 100% and goes above and beyond in delivering great material for me to use for work. The Saturday after the fire he was scheduled to do a shoot of the 1 year anniversary of a house we had built for local veterans. Even though 3 days before that he had lost his home, he and his brother showed up for work to do what I had hired him to do, that is a testament to the kind of young man he is, dedicated, responsible and willing to get the job done no matter what. I am starting this Go Fund Me page because he and his brother need help until they can get back on their feet again. I am sure they will appreciate anything that we can raise for them. Below are a few words from Nat…

Hello, this Go Fund Me is for my brother Gabe and me. We were raised in Solano County and have lived here since we were 6 years old. We like living here and were lucky enough to find a room to rent from a family in Vacaville. I am currently starting my own videography/ photography business and pursuing a career in the film industry. My brother Gabe is currently working for a roofing company.
Last Wednesday we were woken up at 2am to thick smoke and a red sky, the fire was very close and moving toward the house very fast. We packed as much of our belongings as we could, and tried to help the owners of the home as well, but the fire was moving so fast that we could not get all of our belongings out in time. The owners of the home, and my brother and I lost many belongings as well as items of sentimental value. We are very thankful that we were able to get out of the house safely, but the house was burned beyond repair and destroyed.
We are currently in a hotel but will need to find a place to live soon. We will need help with basic living expenses such as food and shelter until we can get back on our feet again. Any help we can get will be greatly appreciated while we are trying to figure out our next steps.
Thank you,
Nat & Gabe
