Goatlandia and other farm animal sanctuaries have been tirelessly working to help rescue animals in Sonoma/Napa/Solano Counties. After rescuing 15 goats, 2 mini donkeys and chickens last night, and another 6 nubian goats today and with the increase of fires affecting people and their farm animals in greater Santa Rosa (and surroundings) Deborah Blum, founder  of Goatlandia, decided we needed to do more. So we are going to coordinate more rescues with folks who have animal trailers and others who have land and stalls for animals. We would like to provide all supplies needed to both the folks who are having to evacuate with their farm animals, and those who are caring for others farm animals. And, as Santa Rosa/Sonoma County Fairgrounds needs more supplies, help coordinate buying supplies and getting them to the Fairgrounds.

Goatlandia Farm Animal Sanctuary is a 501(c)3 and will provide regular updates on the work being completed through your donations. We are also going to ensure that other Sanctuaries who are rescuing animals and need additional monetary assistance will receive monies through this fund as well.
