My mother Patricia lost the apartment she was living in, as well as all her possessions in the #CampFire on November 8th. She was fortunate to successfully evacuate Paradise that morning, and escaped with little other than a few pieces of clothing in a suitcase. She is staying with a family member while we try to help her back on her feet and into a house. 

The destruction is nearly total:
Gratefully, she is safe and unharmed, but now needs to survive until she can rebuild her life. There are many things she will need in the coming months while she faces the task of trying to find a living situation in this scarce housing market, deals with the logistics of insurance and paperwork, etc.  And so this fund is a call for help to enable her to get there.
