On June 17, 2026, a massive fire broke out at the Lineage Logistics cold storage facility in Boyle Heights, sending toxic smoke across the neighborhood and triggering shelter-in-place orders that shuttered businesses and kept customers away. Days later, the fire continues to smolder and devastate our community's small businesses.
Street vendors who depend on daily foot traffic have lost income they can never recover. Brick-and-mortar shops have faced forced closures, lost customers, and mounting uncertainty about what comes next. These are the backbone of our community — the family-owned restaurants, the corner tiendas, the street vendors feeding our neighbors — and they need support now.
Inclusive Action, the Boyle Heights Chamber of Commerce, and the Hustle & Heart Collective have established the Boyle Heights Fire Relief Fund for Small Businesses. Resources raised will support small businesses in ZIP codes 90022, 90023, 90033, and 90063 — the heart of the communities most impacted by the Lineage Fire. We are committed to getting resources directly into the hands of the entrepreneurs who need them most, quickly and equitably.
100% of funds raised will support the delivery of relief funds to impacted community members.
Our partners at the Boyle Heights Chamber of Commerce and Hustle & Heart Collective bring deep roots in this community and will help ensure funds are distributed with care, integrity, and urgency.
Boyle Heights and East LA are resilient, but resilience needs resources. Please donate today and share this campaign with everyone you know.
