Donation protected
On New Year's Day, 2022, Ms. Pamela Crockett and her two sons lost their home and personal belongings to a fire. What was not destroyed by the flames was severely damaged by smoke.
Pam or Coach Pam, as she is fondly known by current and former athletes, their parents, and her fellow coaches, is one of the most selfless coaches in the sport today. She is the head coach of Full Speed Athletics (FSA), a track team in Maryland. With over 28 years of experience in the track and field, 12 as an athlete and 16 as a coach, she has successfully coached and placed athletes at top U.S. universities, including but not limited to Amherst, Columbia University, Cornell University, Howard University, Indiana University, Morgan State, Notre Dame, University of Michigan, University of Richmond, University of Virginia. In addition, former FSA athletes currently attend or have graduated from top-rated high schools such as Bullis, Holton Arms, Landon School, National Cathedral School, St. John's College High School, Riverdale Baptist, Bishop McNamara, Elizabeth Seton, Dematha, and Arch Bishop Carroll. Several of here current and former track and field athletes hold national titles and records.
Coach Pam advocates tirelessly for her student-athletes both on and off the track, placing the emotional and physical well-being of her athletes ahead of all other considerations. She uses her large track network to help not only FSA athletes but also athletes who are not affiliated with her program to get recruited by and receive scholarships from colleges and universities across the country.
