Fire Relief Fund for the Morales Family

Hi everyone! My name is Marcy (Ceci’s sister in law) and I along with her siblings were thinking of ways we could support Ceci, Ludwin and their beautiful 3 kiddos Joshua, Penny & Julius through an unexpected situation they encountered just yesterday.

On Wednesday December 16th, while at work, Ceci & Ludwin Morales were notified regarding some alarming news that their place in Oakland had caught on fire and to rush home. Unfortunately, the house next to theirs went up fully in flames and the fire spread to the upstairs floor of the duplex they lived in. Thankfully, no one was harmed. And despite the Oakland fire department being able to cease the spread of the fire before the flames reached their downstairs unit, lots of damage was already done. They were advised that all of their belongings including clothes, furniture and other valuables are unsalvageable due to the water damage and more importantly the toxic fumes from the fire/smoke which is harmful to their family.

On top of all this, Ceci & Ludwin are in the process of buying their first family home. And as much as they’ve been looking forward to making that transition soon, this unexpected emergency certainly has added another stress factor - having to start with everything from scratch. I know they are resilient but we wanted to think of a way we could come together and help show them some love and support. If you could find it in your heart to donate any amount possible to help provide some relief with buying all the essentials they need, we’re sure it would go a long way!
