Fire Relief Fund For Rob Smitty
Donation protected
On Friday morning around 4:00AM, our friend Rob was awoken to a raging fire in the kitchen of his home in Chattanooga, TN. Rob quickly was able to save two of his dogs and returned into the house to rescue his third. At this point this house was filled with smoke and it was impossible for him to rescue his 12 year old dog, Shelby. Rob lost everything that morning. The house completely burned down with everything inside.
Rob is a Chattanooga/Cleveland native and has built a life around helping others. Over the last 15 years he has helped to find 7 kidney matches for complete strangers around the country. He has gone as far to donate his own kidney. The dogs Rob has currently are all rescues and are simply his entire life. He loves animals more than any person I’ve ever met.
Rob can never replace his sweet dog, Shelby, but we can help him to replace everything else that this day has taken from him. He is completely starting over with the help of his family, friends and The Red Cross but we are asking for donations from the public as well. If you feel motivated to do so, please donate. Every bit counts and it is going to someone with a huge heart that deserves it all. If you aren’t able to donate monetarily we are also asking for men’s clothing, shoes and toiletries. Please message me for more details. We thank each and every one of you for reading this far.
And from the bottom of our hearts we want to thank all of the first responders who showed up to the scene. They risked their lives to help our friend and are still doing everything they can to provide peace.
Love & blessings to you all.
