My dear friend Patty Ruland and her mom lost everything they owned last Saturday when their house literally burned to the ground in the devastating fires in Santa Rosa. They were forced to leave with nothing more than the clothes on their back in the middle of the night.
My name is Janet Rufin. I am from Patty's hometown of Staten Island. We have been friends for over 30+ years.
I hope to raise money to help Patty shoulder some of the immediate expenses of what it will take to slowly put their lives back together. They will have immediate access to withdraw any monies donated. Please share this on your social media apps so as to reach the masses.
Any amount you can donate will assist them in picking up the pieces of their lives from the ashes of their memories.
They will use this money to assist them in getting back on their feet, for housing, and to purchase immediate needs which include toiletries and clothing. Short to long-term needs will include furniture and bedding and other basic household necessities. They literally have nothing.
Fortunately, her boss has donated a temporary place to stay until the end of this month. However, they will eventually need to find housing arrangements.
