On February 20th 2021, Jordan and her family suffered a tragic house fire. Jordan had just dropped off her children to their grandmother's house and was on her way to a baby shower and decided to stop at home due to forgetting something. Within minutes of being home, Jordan was standing over a fire that started in the basement. Thankfully Jordan was able to escape the fire safely. Unfortunately, due to fire and smoke damage many of their belongings and furniture were not able to be saved. All of her children's toys took a total loss and now they have to endure the stress of having to rebuild their home along with currently being displaced from their home indefinitely forcing them stay in a hotel room. Jordan has had to take time off of work (unpaid) to meet with inspectors, cleaners, electrical company etc.. that need to assess the home. Victims of fires face tremendous emotional stress and financial costs and with this go fund me we hope to alleviate some of the stress that the family will face as they begin to rebuild and help cover the expenses of the insurance deductible.
