With so many people offering to help I thought this would be easiest way for everyone to show Abby and her 3 kids love and support.
On Tuesday, March 2, 2021, their home caught fire. Their family of four were able to escape safely; however, they are currently displaced indefinitely. They weren’t able to take items with them as their home is extensively damaged from fire, smoke and water.
From talking to others who have experienced house fires, it is most helpful for Abby to be able to purchase exactly what they need versus accepting donations of clothes, etc. This eliminates them being additionally overwhelmed by having to sort through items and getting too much versus getting only what they need.
Since they are unable to stay in their home they will be finding a temporary place to stay and basically starting all over.
Thank you for your love for Abby and her beautiful kids! I have know her for over 25 years and they deserve it all and would be the first to jump in to help another family in this situation.
