House Fire Relief for Max and Zach

Donation protected
On the evening of the 26th, an electrical fire that started on the 3rd floor of an apartment building on 9th and Lombard Streets in Philadelphia rendered two of my best friends and bandmates homeless. Max and Zach and their cat Chicken were able to get out of the building safely, but having recently moved into the building after an abrupt move from Kensington, they were barely settled and had yet to get renters insurance.

Both of these boys are touring musicians and producers who rely on freelance work to make a living, and aside from their personal computers they have lost almost everything - clothing, furniture, pedals, pedal boards, hard drives, guitars, sentimental instruments, keyboards, gear, etc...

Max and Zach primarily worked from home, and are now without 95% of the things they need to generate an income. Their basement apartment suffered extreme water and smoke damage, and they were unable to retrieve any of their belongings.

Anything that our friends/friends of friends can contribute will be wildly helpful. After a really shitty year, this fire has had a truly devastating effect on my homies and we are trying our best to get them into a new living situation but it is going to be a long process. Max has family nearby, and will be relocating for the time being, however Zach does not have any relatives in the area, and we are looking for temporary solutions for him and Chicken.

Our goal of 2500 dollars is a preliminary, low-estimate of what they will need to get back on their feet, and likely will be updated as we get more information. Funds are an enormous help, however if you have other items (i.e., spare equipment, instruments, clothing) you can donate, anything is appreciated. Funds will go to replacing clothes, instruments, furniture, cables, pedals, equipment, and finding these boys some new digs as soon as possible. All donations will be directly received by Max Steen.
