Fire relief for Leon and Gulia Weinstein

As many of you know, Sunday night Gulia and Leon’s house caught on fire. The garage which stored all the artwork was burned to ashes. Thankfully no one got hurt but the business has suffered substantially. All the art is gone and the the insurance company will not be covering this loss.

Many of you have sent messages or called Gulya and Leon with offers of help, but Gulya as a proud Georgian (грузинка) refused to take any money. Then people started calling me and asking what they can do. I think the best way we can all help is to collect some money to help Leon and Gulya to pay artists for the lost (burned in the fire) paintings. The inventory was a bit above million dollars and every cent helps.

Over the years, Gulia and Leon have extended a helping hand to an endless amount of people. They have never and would never ask for help but I know that so many of us want to support them though this. This is why I put together this page. Bad things happen in life and it’s the support of our friends and family that helps to alleviate some of life’s challenges.
