Fire Recovery Support for the Ronneau Family
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,
We’re reaching out to ask for your help on behalf of some truly special people—our dear friends who are more like family to us—the Ronneau family.
While Rex, Tricia, and Ava were out of town this past weekend, their family home caught fire. Although the flames did not consume the entire house, the damage left behind has been heartbreaking. The damage from fire and smoke has made nearly all of their belongings unusable, and the home is currently unlivable. The walls, furniture, clothes, Ava's softball and hockey gear and other cherished items have not been able to be salvaged. The hope that some things could be saved has made salvage efforts slow, emotional, and mostly unsuccessful.
Returning home to this kind of devastation is something no family should have to face alone. In addition to losing the comfort and security of their home, they are now navigating the overwhelming process of cleanup, temporary housing, replacing essential items, and rebuilding their lives.
We’re hoping to raise funds to help ease their financial burden—covering everything from temporary housing, clothing, meals, and daily essentials, to helping Ava replace some of her sports gear and belongings and longer-term recovery costs not fully covered by insurance.
If you feel moved to donate, no amount is too small. And if you’re unable to give at this time, please consider sharing this page to help us spread the word.
The Ronneaus are some of the kindest, most generous people we know, and now it’s our turn to lift them up. Let’s show them how much love and support surrounds them.
With gratitude,
