Monday afternoon August 7, Joel drove his car to the grocery store. When he got back his RV was raging on fire. He tried his best to get his dog Cody out, but the heat and smoke overcame his best friend and nearly Joel himself.

This IS the RV you've seen n the Safeway parking lot, and be assured Joel cleans up others' messes, helps to apprehend bike thieves and deters illegal dumping at the property, or he would've been gone from there long before now.

You might know him from his work in the kitchen at the Vaudeville, at Uncle Pizza, as a driver for Valley Taxi and many trade jobs around the valley. Joel is a hard worker and helps to look after those around him
