UPDATE!!!!! After assessing the damage, it’s not terrible, they did lose their whole kitchen; appliances, table, chairs, food etc and living room furniture etc. The damage is thankfully fixable and things are replaceable. That being said they need some help with replacing items. Chrissie has missed some work and upcoming schedule is very minimal hours. They still have bills to pay in which some are due today and tomorrow on top of trying to rebuild what was lost in an already shaky economy.

Hello, my name is Lorraine, my very good friends Chrissie, Pip and their 11 year old daughter, Summer unfortunately were displaced because their apartment caught on fire yesterday. It all happened in the matter of seconds and are still unsure of how this all happened. We think it could have been from a faulty stove. Everyone is okay, Chrissie does have some scrapes and bruises because after hearing the sprinklers hitting the door, not knowing what it was at that moment, she opened the door and the force of the fire threw her back, knocking her out of her shoes. She still managed to get up and save all of their kitties and got her daughter Summer who was sleeping out safely! They lost their food, and everything else in the kitchen, living room and some items from each of their bedrooms. Most importantly they are displaced for now and have a lot of what ifs, I don’t know’s, and everything is up in the air for them, which is extremely stressful. Let’s try to help ease whatever obstacle they need to jump through right now. They may have to stay in a hotel for a couple weeks, they need food, they may need first last and security. Like I said everything is all up in the air for them but let’s start now by helping ease some of the financial burdens they are now going to face. Chrissie and Pip are the most kindest, caring and most giving people I have ever met. It would mean so much to me if you could help in any way, by donating and/or sharing this with friends and family.
