Hello Everyone,

I am putting forward this GoFundMe to help my sister, Blanca Alanis and her two daughters, recover some of what was lost in a building fire. My sister and her two daughters lost all of their belongings in the fire that started in the apartment across from theirs.

Blanca and my nieces had only moved in a month ago and were home at the time it happened. She only managed to take her phone before she ran outside with her babies.

Everything was destroyed, leaving behind broken hearts and uncertainty for a single mom and her two baby girls, soon to be 6 and 4 year olds.

The fire has left much devastation behind, it is overwhelming to know where to start. My sister Blanca, her daughters and our entire family are grieving their loss trying to imagine the steps forward. Nonetheless, we are thankful all three of them were able to walk away safely.

We are beyond grateful for our community! Many have already stepped forward with love and generosity.
