Last month, a fire destroyed the apartment of my son Conor, 4 days after his 26th birthday.

Fire loss is devastating at any time,  but during this time of social isolation, losing your home and personal belongings is unimaginable. He was incredibly lucky that he and his animals were not hurt, however almost all of his personal belongings that were not destroyed by fire were ruined from smoke damage. Unfortunately, without renter's insurance all of the financial burden of starting over will fall on his shoulders. 

Through the efforts of this fundraiser,  I am hoping to help alleviate some of the stress that comes with losing a home by helping Conor save for a down payment on a new place to live, and to begin to replace all that was lost in the fire. 

In the meantime Conor has been bouncing between the homes of his best friend and parents.  This pandemic has been hard on all of us, and space is at a minimum, therefore 100% of funds raised by this campaign will be used for a home, clothing and furniture.

Depending on future social distancing guidance, we would like to be able to begin the moving process by June.  Any and all support from our community would be greatly appreciated.
