Fire recovery for Behnoosh& Majid; once again HOME

A massive four-alarm fire in West Windsor on April 7th, 2021, engulfed the apartment building where my friends Behnoush and Majid lived. This fire caused irreparable damage to all the apartment units and caused everything to be destroyed with it. As an immigrant couple, they started from zero to get where they were before the disaster. Earning every single one of their belongings with hard work far from their families. All the memorable and sentimental stuff is gone now.

We are exceedingly grateful that they were not home at the time of the fire and are safe and well! Their positive attitude continues to shine through, despite this devastating event.

The building and fire inspection are still ongoing, and no residents have been allowed back in. Given these dynamics, it will be some time until any insurance claim can be settled to begin anew.

Unfortunately, the fire destroyed everything they own and I'm hoping this fundraiser will take some financial burden off their shoulders as they pick up the pieces to start anew from this tragedy. We appreciate any help, no matter how big or small, and give the utmost gratitude for help and assistance in all forms.
