Fire Proof Forest is a documentary I am creating on wildfires in British Columbia and focuses on the nuanced discussion surrounding the causes of the devastation. Our government would have you believe these catastrophes are solely due to our evolving climate and that alone, but what these fires have exposed is a much more complicated story. Through my own investigating in previous documentaries, Valley Destroyed part 1 and part 2, I exposed lies our government have told about those who stayed behind to save their homes and shone a light on our bureaucratically flawed, centralized Wildfire Service.

Beyond that, a deeper problem exists within our forestry industry: The systematic destruction of deciduous forest types. This has been taking place for decades and now we are seeing the many consequences begin to appear.

There is much work that still needs to be done and so I'm asking for support from those who believe in the work I'm doing.
