This morning (Monday, June 14th) at 4:40 a.m. my parents condo caught fire in Aliso Viejo, CA. Thanks to quick work by neighbors and fire fighters, my parents- Jane Barnes and Joe Wicentowich, made it out safely with minor injuries. Their home on the other hand, is a loss. Few items were salvaged. Everything from pictures, clothes, memories in frames- all demolished. Basic needs to live (and work) are gone.
My brother and I are establishing this Go Fund Me Campaign to help raise funds for any out of pocket expenses Jane and Joe will incur
over the next few months as they set out to rebuild their home and get basic supplies to live off of.

Knowing my parents, anything not needed will be donated back to charity or to fire rescue. Thank you from the bottom of my heart- this is going to be a long road- but with the strength and compassion of friends- they will come out on the other side- stronger than ever.
