Fire Leaves Family Without Home and Pets

On December 6, 2024, a tragic incident struck 322 Princeton Ave in Jersey City. Humbly

asking for help for my sister-in-law Carmen Melendez more affectionately known as “Carmencita” who has lost everything and to recover from this horrific

tragedy. The consequences of this fire are devastating, loosing their home and all of

their belongings. Unfortunately all of the families pets were also lost in the fire.

The family has two young children ages 2 and 6. The children who’s mother was lost

shortly after child birth 2 years ago and have been living with their grandparents at this

location.

The fire totally destroyed all of this families belongings leaving the family with nothing. As renters without renters insurance

the family is now left without the basic necessities such as clothing and housing.

We are grateful and very appreciative for any help received to begin the rebuilding process.
