Fire Fundraiser: Help Us Rebuild Our Home

Story

My mother has been residing here for over 35 years and we love our neighbors and community. This is my childhood home where I was raised and have been for so long. We’ve been a part of this community for so long, I can’t imagine calling any other place home. On May 10, Saturday morning, a fire broke out above us and we were forced to vacate our place. Due to the water damage, the ceilings have collapsed, walls are damaged, ruining all of our furniture and belongings. We are forced to vacate our home until it is habitable again. We have not been given a timeline of how long the repairs will be, but now we are looking to start over for our home. The funds will be used to help with temporary housing, clothing, hygiene needs, pet products and eventually replace all that has been lost and damaged in our home due to the fire. You will be helping my mother Olga, myself, our friend Juan and our two kitties Happy and Brownie. Thank you for helping us build our home again.
