Fire Fundraiser for the D’Appollonio Family

One of our wonderful Farmington/Unionville neighbors has started off 2020 with a terrible loss. Their beautiful home suffered a house fire on January 2. We are grateful that both they and their pets escaped safely but tragically, they are left with nothing. While they count themselves lucky, the future is daunting. At the moment they are operating in disbelief and numbness but the harsh reality of what has been lost will soon sink in. Their days ahead will be filled with a sense of overwhelming loss. Many have reached out asking how they can help. We started this GoFundMe on their behalf to help them get by over the next few months. Brett, Lindsey, Kayla (age 8) and Mason (age 6) need our amazing community’s help.

Understandably, not all are in a position to contribute. For those who can and are able to, it’s greatly appreciated.

While the outpouring of material donations is a tremendous help, the family needs to make decisions about their next move and don’t have anywhere to store these items at the moment. Stay tuned for additional information in that regard.
