Fire Fundraiser for Frank, Melissa and Giovanna

Today we got a call that one of Tom's Local 19 brothers Frankie was out this morning working the elections and came home to his house actively on fire. His baby girl Giovanna and fiancé Melissa are thankfully ok, but they will need some help getting back on their feet. This obviously hits close to home to Tom and I as we just passed the 5 year mark for when our fire changed our lives. Fires are not picky and it can happen to anyone. When it does you are not sure what to do, who to call or even where to start. It’s so devastating when it happens. 
November is a time to be thankful for everything that we have and for those that are in our lives daily to support us. I know for a fact personally being a union family having that brotherhood is very important to the men and women in the Local. I would like to show them that they can be thankful for their brothers and sisters that work beside them daily, are more than just co-workers they are family. I think that the biggest part of being a union member is that you have a bonus family that will check up on you, they are with you good/bad and lastly they will stay with you year after year in more ways than one bc no matter what you can depend on them to be in your corner.  we can all agree hasn’t been the best year for most especially bc of the Corona Virus, but I want to let Frankie and Melissa know that there is hope and many people are kind, thoughtful and have good hearts. Frankie and Melissa will need to get a lot of work done to their house and replace items that they lost in the fire, water damage or smoke damage. Any little bit that you could donate would be greatly appreciated by the family.
