One of our own, Gayle Kutach, lost her St. Helena Road home of 30+ years to the Glass Fire in Sonoma County, Ca. She left with only her emergency bag and her dog, Stella. The home she shared with her beloved, late husband Ricky, who spent decades of his life building their mountain homestead, is entirely gone. Having evacuated in the night, she lost everything -- she will need to replace everything from basic kitchen items to clothes.
What you should know about Gayle:
Gayle is a modest and humble person. She lives simply and in connection with nature. She is a beautiful soul, a quiet lover of all creatures, and she leaves only light footprints on the earth. She always helps others in need.
If you can, please give this humble woman a gift to help her as she begins anew.
If you ever visited their mountain home, you saw the heart and hard work that went into building it. Hand-laid rock steps led to a house filled with many heartfelt touches and salvaged materials repurposed into art. It was mountain living at its very funky best. Unfortunately, it was also uninsured.
While rebuilding that beloved home isn't a possibility, we want to help Gayle as she moves forward. Your donation could help her purchase a camper van and take the first steps to start a new life.
We like to think our gifts will help grow her Phoenix wings. Thank you for joining us.
Taylor, D'Arcy, Stacey, Otis and all her extended family
