Fire Fighter Christopher Conway Memorial Fund

Donativo protegido
On Monday, July 13, 2020, Pittsburgh Fire Fighters lost one of their own. Fire Fighter Christopher Conway passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness. Chris joined the Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire in 2018 as a recruit in class 128 and served the City proudly. He was stationed at Engine 20 in the Hays neighborhood.

Chris always gave everything he had, in life and as a Fire Fighter. He was the kindest and most friendly person we had ever met. He brightened everyone’s life that he touched.

Chris (March 11, 1990-July 13, 2020) was born in Pittsburgh, PA. He was a graduate of Chartiers Valley High School (2008) and attended Robert Morris University. Chris was a Game of Thrones expert and enjoyed teaching quantum physics to his friends. He always put others’ needs above his own.

Chris is survived by his wife, Xanthia Saganis; their dog, Samson; his parents, Kim Dugas and Tim Conway; his sister, Laurie Conway; and his grandmothers, Jean Conway and Jean Dugas.

On behalf of the Pittsburgh Fire Fighters and the members of Recruit Class 128, we thank you for any support you may be able to provide to ease the financial stress on his family caused by this unexpected loss. Please keep Chris, his family and friends, and fellow fire fighters in your thoughts and prayers.

This memorial fund was created by Pittsburgh Fire Fighters for the family of Chris Conway; 100% of the funds raised will go directly to his family.
