My family has been impacted by the Eaton wildfires in Altadena and Pasadena, which forced us to evacuate. We’re now grappling with financial and emotional hardships, including the costs of temporary housing, lost income, the challenges of displacement and the smoke damage treatment required to eventually return home. As a disabled mom, with severe heart failure and several other health issues, this abrupt and forced relocation has been both mentally and physically exhausting. Due to the air quality and the fact that I am currently awaiting a heart transplant, I am unable to stay anywhere close to the area. As a result, I am forced to travel long distances to get to and from doctor appointments. Though I am grateful to have a home to eventually return to, I am unsure when that return will be. Any contribution is greatly appreciated and will assist us with the following:
- Cover temporary housing for family of 5 including one toddler.
-Every day essentials, such as food and gas.
- Cover costs of lost wages due to missed, unpaid work days.
- Cover costs of replacing all furniture, mattresses and bedding.

Every donation, regardless of size, will offer vital relief. If you’re unable to contribute financially, sharing this campaign with your network would be much appreciated. Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support during this challenging time.
With much gratitude,
Jessica
