Hi, I'm Marilyn and while I've had my share of bad luck or scary experiences I had never experienced the destruction of fire. Luckily, me and my dogs survived - the fire started at 2am, we were asleep and when I went to check why the alarm was going off I very quickly realized we were trapped - the thick smoke made getting out the front or back impossible, the whole house was filled except for my bedroom. Luckily, we were able to climb out the bedroom window in time and call 911. I was barefoot, we were all cold and scared and while my shoes burnt my car keys didn't so eventually we were able to get somewhere safe.

I am overwhelmed, a bit perplexed, and facing the unknown of where I'm going to live and how me and my dogs are going to stay warm this Christmas amidst snow and freezing temps.

Power has been cut to the house; it's uninhabitable, and I really need help. I don't have PTO, I don't have family or a place to stay nearby, and I need to still pay bills and for either an Airbnb or the possible pet-friendly hotel that will accept 3 dogs and keep us all fed and warm .

Any assistance is so greatly appreciated.
