Was asleep when I woke up to the sound of the alarm going off and all I could see was smoke. I followed the smoke to the kitchen and tried to splash water onto the fire, but being an electric fire issue, it just made it worse. So, I ran out to my neighbors and they called 911. I was fortunate to be alive; if I was in there for a little longer, the water heater would've exploded. Can't claim insurance for my burns and property damage, and neither can Eagle Cap Realty put me in a temporary home. My family and I are needing help to find a home to stay in. Lost everything.
