On the morning of Wednesday April 24th, Lori Battle was scheduled to have surgery at UCLA Medical Center. However, instead of making it to the hospital for a necessary surgical procedure, she and her family awoke to a life threatening house fire that ultimately left her and her family displaced. By the grace of God they made it out alive and without harm, but the loss they have suffered due to the fire has been enormous. The family is currently dealing with rebuilding their lives as this has been such a hardship on them financially and emotionally.
