Fire Devastation: Support My Parents' Needs

This is my parents home. It caught fire early this morning 1/23/25. My mother is disabled and our father has health issues. My bother and his family live in the home to help my parents so they’ve been displaced as well. My parents own this house outright and it is over 100 years old in Buffalo Mills Pennsylvania the reason i say that is because they could not obtain homeowners insurance, due to the age of their home. They’ve lost almost everything they own and worked hard for their entire lives. I’m asking for donations to help them with housing expenses. The fire chief told my mother the house will need to be demolished, there is no repairing it. The home they laid floors in, furnished with love and attention. Memories that hung on the walls. The home filled with their grandchildren in the summer months and holidays. It’s all gone. I’m asking anyone to donate or share this. If you can’t help and could just offer prayers we are most grateful for them. They have contacted the Red Cross and are able to stay in a motel for about a week. We have calls in to the Salvation Army and charity's now and are waiting on call backs. They own a pull behind trailer but the campgrounds are full where they’re at. So they are looking into those to be able to hook the trailer up to get power for heat and hookups for water. The reason they don’t want to leave the area is because my niece is graduating this year (with honors i might add) she is involved in clubs and other activities at the school. My mom picks her up from those events, it’s their nanny and granddaughter time she says. Again, anything helps them and we are appreciative and grateful for everything!
