Can you imagine losing your clothes and personal belongings in a fire?!
Shanna, Max, Frankie (2 years old), and Marshall (6 months) were about to head on an incredible journey!! They sold their trailer, and bought a motor home to go on a travelling tour.
After a hard year it seemed liked the best thing to do! They’ve had a tough one, their son got put in the hospital with an ecoli infection shortly after he was born. Then Max was in a bad side by side accident that wrecked both of his hands and as a mechanic, he is not unable to work for now, which financially has been hard as you can imagine.
This motorhome trip was going to be AWESOME! Travel across Canada and the states with their family and just try to make the best of the fact that Max cannot work with limited use of his hands.
Then on September 13, Shanna was up working on her computer when she heard loud noises and smelled burning. She looked out the window and saw a flicker in the motor home. She quickly woke up Max! The motorhome was parked in between their trailer and another trailer m, so he got in and drove it across the road into a field where it burst into flames!
All of their clothes, kids clothes, maxes sisters clothes(she was going with them) and personal belongings were in there, ready to go!! PLUS they had zero insurance as they had JUST bought it, and were going to put insurance on it in the morning to leave.
They had just sold their trailer and gave away all their things that wouldn’t fit in the motorhome to go on this adventure, and now have to be out of their trailer in a couple days! They have no where to live, with no clothes or personal belongings. They literally lost ALL that they owned in there.
They are not the kind of people to ever ask for help and would give the clothes of the backs to help other people out!! So let’s help them get even just a little bit to get them back on their feet again!
